On the evening of 29 October 2024, 1,650 people took part in the fight against breast cancer by running around the Circuit Paul Ricard.
After a warm-up by a sports coach, participants of all ages set off at sunset to cover the 5.8 km circuit, running, walking or rollerblading. Smiles and motivation were the order of the day for this wonderful charity initiative.
Proceeds from the evening, almost double those from the 2023 event, went entirely to the charity ‘Tout le Monde Contre le Cancer’. The association's aim is to provide day-to-day support for patients, their families and carers.
The cheque for 16,500 euros was presented by the Circuit Paul Ricard's CSR Manager, Thibaut Gosselin, and the President of the circuit's Sports Club, Mélanie Servell, to the head of the ‘Tout Le Monde Contre Le Cancer’ association, Lorie Delalandre.
‘The Circuit Paul Ricard was delighted to organise this second edition of the Sunset Run to mark Pink October’, commented Thibaut Gosselin, CSR Manager at the Circuit Paul Ricard. ‘This event is fully in line with our company's CSR policy, which promotes inclusion and diversity at local level throughout the year. Thank you to all our partners and participants for their involvement.
For this event, the circuit was able to count on the support of ORECA, the Grand Prix Hôtel & Restaurant***, the Hôtel & Spa du Castellet*****, Terre de Running, the Aéroport International du Castellet and the Restaurant Panoramic Club.
